MURTON NEIGHBOURHOOD PLAN AREA
Referendum on the adoption of the Murton Neighbourhood Plan
1. A referendum will be held on Thursday 10 July 2025 to decide on the Question below:
‘Do you want City of York Council to use the Neighbourhood Plan for Murton to help it decide planning applications in the neighbourhood area?’
- Applicationstobeincludedontheregisterofelectorsforthisreferendummust reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Offices, Station Rise, York YO1 6GA, midnight, Tuesday 24 June 2025. Applications to register can also be made online: https://www.gov.uk/register-to-vote
- New applications for, or amendments or cancellations of postal votes and amendments or cancellations of existing proxy votes must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Offices, Station Rise, York YO1 6GA by 17:00 on Wednesday 25 June 2025. Applications for a postal vote can also be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-postal-vote
- New applications to vote by proxy at this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer at West Offices, Station Rise, York YO1 6GA by 17:00 on Wednesday 2 July 2025. Applications for a proxy vote can also be made online: www.gov.uk/apply-proxy-vote
- Applications for a Voter Authority Certificate or an Anonymous Elector’s Document valid for this referendum must reach the Electoral Registration Officer by 17:00 on Wednesday 2 July 2025.
